Links. Follow vs. nofollow – What’s the difference?

Links are when a site page gets an inbound link the page it came into gets a small SEO boost. Google is constantly watching out for “juicy” links and rates the webpages as authoritative and relevant because of them, great for SEO! Google actually created a metric called PageRank to calculate the link points. PageRank will not be happy with links that create spam. Nofollow links primarily belong in Paid links, Comments, & Forums and therefore won’t create a “juicy point” for being good….. follow links however….are links that count as points, pushing SEO link juice and boosting the page rank of the linked-to sites, helping them go higher in the SERPs as a result.
